On the many pranks in the shopping biz!
So here is a quick piece about why Im so sick and tired of all the capitalist junk that goes on in this country. Its all very fine and good for stores to try to get more people to come to but what they are selling but there has got to be a limit to what the can do already!
Silly little ploys are not going to make it or break it for major department stores. Let me tell you what happened the other night. I was on my way home from a very heard day at the office so I decided to go have a drink for myself. I stopped a t a local bar and sat up front at the counter. I was minding my own business for a while until overheard two people having a conversation at the next table. Normally I have better things to do when I’m at a bar but I was by myself and board so I thought I would listen in.
It was a meeting of some sort ere ill call him person one was trying to convince person two to buy dress form mannequins for his small shop the he had just opened in the east village. Do you know what a dress form mannequins is? Well I didn’t ether but after hearing him explain it I wanted to bop him over the head! Dress forms are basically mannequins made out of material instead of fiberglass.
This clown was trying to persuade his friend that he e would end up selling more clothing if he had them displayed on dress forms as opposed to traditional mannequins. As thought this is the most critical aspect of business!
You do need mannequins to have a clothing store but its not going to make it or break it! I drove me crazy how people work so hard for such *&^*&^%*!!! I know its not esy making a living sometimes but that doesn’t mean that you have to get into the advertising and market junk society! Its not a crime to make a good honest living and mister “person one” was really selling himself short with his false promises
